How your order is fulfilled
We do not keep stock in our own warehouse. The products we sell are supplied by third-party suppliers, and your order is sent to you directly from the supplier, normally by courier. This is sometimes called dropshipping.
What this means for you:
- We are the seller. You buy from us, and we remain responsible to you for the goods, their delivery and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, even though a supplier packs and sends the parcel.
- Delivery times start once your payment has cleared. We then place your order with the supplier. Each product page shows an estimate, which is the supplier’s usual time and not a guarantee.
- One order can arrive in more than one parcel, if the items come from different suppliers. You pay delivery once.
- An item can sell out at the supplier between your order and ours. If that happens, we tell you and offer an alternative or a full refund.
- Your delivery details go to the supplier and the courier. We share only what they need to deliver your parcel. Our privacy policy explains this, including suppliers outside South Africa.
You must be 18 or over
Our products are for adults only. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the items are for adult, personal use.
Products and descriptions
We describe every product as accurately as we can, including its material, specifications and delivery estimate. Colours on screen can vary slightly. Where a material has not been verified with supplier documents, the product page says so.
Prices
Prices are in South African rand and include VAT where it applies. Delivery costs are shown before you place your order. If a price is clearly wrong because of an error, we will tell you before processing your order and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel.
Placing an order
- You place an order and accept these terms and our product safety, care and risk notice.
- We show you your payment reference and our bank details as soon as you place the order.
- We hold your order for 48 hours while your EFT clears. If payment has not arrived by then, the order is cancelled automatically.
- Our agreement is final once your payment has cleared and we confirm it by email, and we then place your order with our supplier.
If an item turns out to be unavailable after you pay, we will offer you an alternative or a full refund.
Payment
We accept EFT only at present. Please use your payment reference exactly as given so we can match your payment. We never ask for or store card details.
Delivery
We deliver within South Africa only. Your order is sent by our supplier, as explained under “How your order is fulfilled” above. Delivery costs and times are explained on our shipping and discreet delivery pages. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered.
Cancellations and returns
You can cancel within seven days of delivery, and you have rights if goods are faulty. Our returns policy explains how this works.
Using products safely
Please follow the instructions that come with each product and our product safety, care and risk notice. We are not responsible for harm caused by misuse or by ignoring those instructions, to the extent the law allows.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Apart from those rights, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, to the extent the law allows.
Your privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one shown when you placed your order. Its version number is saved with your order.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If you have a complaint, please contact us first. If we cannot resolve it, you may contact the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.
